A YouTuber who once bragged he would “eviscerate prosecutors with his intelligence” has taken a plea deal in a case where he deliberately ran down a police officer — a decision the victim says has left him feeling betrayed by the justice system.

The incident happened after the content creator sped toward a group of officers, striking one of them and leaving him with serious injuries. Prosecutors initially charged him with multiple felonies, but the case has now ended with a significantly reduced punishment under a negotiated deal.

The injured officer voiced deep frustration with the outcome, saying his life has been permanently changed while the man who hit him walks away with what he considers a lenient agreement. He described the plea as a blow to victims of violence against law enforcement, adding that it sends the wrong message about accountability.

According to court filings, the YouTuber had spent months publicly mocking the charges and claiming he was smarter than investigators and lawyers handling the case. In several online posts, he insisted he would expose flaws in the prosecution and walk free.

Instead, he accepted the plea arrangement shortly before the case was set to proceed, avoiding a full trial and the possibility of a much harsher sentence.

The officer who was struck said the crash left him with long-term injuries that continue to affect his daily life. He also accused the defendant of showing no remorse, pointing to the YouTuber’s online behavior as evidence that he treated the case like entertainment rather than a life-altering crime.

The sentencing phase is expected to take place soon, and the victim says he plans to attend, urging the court to impose a punishment that reflects the severity of the attack.
