U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that Iran would face a “very hard” response if it is found to be linked to the attempted attack on a Flydubai flight bound for Israel.
The warning follows an incident in which the co-pilot allegedly attacked the captain, forcing passengers and crew to intervene before the aircraft made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
Iran’s involvement has not been established, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Trump’s warning comes as the United States continues to expand its military presence in the Middle East, including the deployment of additional forces and an aircraft carrier strike group.
